Howlite

Let’s chat about Howlite today. Howlite is a very porous crystal that is often dyed to imitate other stones, primarily Turquoise, however, it is a very powerful crystal. It was discovered in mid 19th century in Canada and was named after the geologist who found it Henry How. It is regarded as a very calming crystal, excellent for meditation and sleep. It is often confused with Magnesite, as they have a very similar appearance and are both often dyed vibrant colors.
Howlite's metaphysical properties include being a very calming crystal as it helps to relieve stress, also helps with sleep, brings mental awareness, dissolves anger and rage, helps focus the mind during meditation, and stimulates the Crown Chakra. Its zodiac association is Gemini and Virgo, the planetary association is Earth and its elemental representation is Air.
