Jade
Today’s featured stone is Jade! Jades' metaphysical properties are it attracts harmony into your life, its a good protection crystal, it helps attract prosperity and abundance, its excellent for use in dream work, it is considered a stone of wisdom and it stimulates the Heart Chakra. Jades' zodiac association is Aries and Pisces, its planetary association and elemental representation is Earth.
Although originally thought to be one crystal, it was discovered in 1863 that there were actually 2 true types of Jade, Nephrite Jade, and Jadeite. Nephrite Jade is often seen as a mild to deep green and often has other color variations, often with black spotting, whereas Jadeite is found in a variety of colors including green, purple and white. Jade has been used since the Stone Age for weapons, tools, and decorative/spiritual objects. It has a long reputation as a good luck and prosperity crystal. The Chinese and Korean cultures are particularly fond of Jade.
